The TATA Indian Premier League 2026 will start on March 28, 2026, and run until May 31, 2026.

This will be the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League with 10 teams competing in 84 matches across Indian stadiums. 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the reigning champions, will defend their maiden title after their historic victory in the 2025 season.

With a total duration of 78 days, the league promises non-stop action with matches scheduled in two time slots 3:30 PM IST and 7:30 PM IST.

The BCCI has officially announced the full schedule for the TATA IPL 2026, including the second phase. The tournament continues from the first phase into the second phase starting April 13, 2026.
