The HHEC of India Limited is a Public Sector Underatking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Textiles , Government of India , established in 1958 with the twin objectives of Development and Exports of Handicrafts & Handloom products from India . The Corporation is also one of the nominated agencies for import of precious metal ( Gold / Silver ) and has been importing precious metal since 1997 . HHEC is also a member of Multi Commodity Exchange Of India Limited (MCX) . The corporation has the following scheme for import of Precious Metal.

• Outright purchase of bullion against 100% payment on delivery
• Consignment basis .
• Loan Basis , as per the RBI guidelines
• Import under Supplier 's Credit /Buyer's Credit .
• Private Public Partnership for Precious Metal Trading in MCX through physical delivery .
