Inviting Offers from Architect  for HHEC Chennai Project

The Handicrafts & Handlooms Exports Corporation of India Ltd. (HHEC) is a wholly owned Government of India Undertaking under the administrative control of Ministry of Textiles is in to exports of Handicrafts, Handlooms, Ready to Wear and Carpets, Bullion Imports and retail sales. HHEC has its registered office in Delhi, Corporate Office in Noida and its three branches in Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.

Present Position: 

1.      Location of the area: It is a corner plot of size 396’ x 220’ located at 31- 32, industrial Estate (SP), Guindy,Chennai-600032

2.      Total Area of the plot: Approx. 2 acres (87120 Sq. Ft)

3.      Present total constructed area: Existing factory building crèche building and additional office building  totaling of approx. 43977 sq. ft.,.

4.      Vacant Land: approx.  10,250 -13,500 sq. ft.

5.      Estimated project Cost: Rs. 16.50 Crores to Rs. 25.00 Crores.

Proposed Construction: It is now proposed to utilize the existing vacant land by constructing a new building without demolishing the existing building in the following manner:

(i)                 Basement                                        -       13,500 sq. ft

(ii)               Silt                                                   -       13,500 sq. ft

(iii)             Typical Floor     – 13,500 x 4          -       54,000 sq. ft

(iv)              Total Buildup Area                          -       81,000 sq. ft

Eligibility:

·        The NCR/ Southern India based reputed Architects, registered with the Council of Architecture,

·        Experience: Not less than 10 years;

·   Projects handled: having enough experience of undertaking projects for minimum Rs. 10.00 crores and above and also have experience in executing projects in Chennai/ Southern India

·        Should be conversant with the Rules and bye–laws of the State.

Offers are invited from the NCR/ Southern India based Architects/firms registered with Council of Architecture along with their organisation details of experience, list of projects handled with Clients name, cost of the Project s handled to following within 15 days of the advertisement. Concept Design and Tentative Cost for Proposed Building at Chennai Branch of HHEC will be called from shot-listed Architects/ Firms by the Committee formed for this project.
